So you have have your CPL...
NOW what??

TRAIN!

Advanced Pistol courses can cover a fast variety of training of opportunities.

Centershot Gun Range offers two different classes.

  • Our Advanced Pistol Course

  • MCRGO Everyday Carry Course (EDC)

Within the above classes you will experience how to draw from open and concealed carry.  Be prepared to use gear such as a winter coat or even a purse or backpack.  Movement will be forward, lateral, bending and stooping. Participants will move at their own pace or within specified time requirements.

Our instructors are there by your side throughout the entire range exercise, to ensure safety to the class.  It is up to you to take your training to the next level of continuance practice to build the muscle memory so that you rise to you level of training and not fail.

MCRGO
Everyday Carry Course

The everyday carry class is designed to build skills to access and draw effectively. This is not a pass or fail range day. This course is designed to give you an idea of your ability level and what you need to work on.  Some courses of fire will challenge a person’s ability to recognize a rapidly unfolding situation and adapt accordingly.  Decision making/cognition drills and skills will be emphasized.

This course will help you build skills by conducting opportunities for you to practice effective access and draw with a certified advanced MCRGO instructor.  This is not a “go fast class”.  The fastest draw is ineffective if fundamentals are lost in the hurry and shot placement goes out the window. We want to strive to do more than just look good in pictures.

Class length: 8 hours.  Sometimes classes run long depending on student engagement & abilities, please plan accordingly.
